True North happily announces the addition of Erica Malloy to our clinical staff. Erica has been a member of our administrative staff for the last four years and is now establishing her clinical practice with us. A graduate of Aurora University, Erica is a licensed social worker currently working with elementary students in School District #204. She specializes in supporting the needs of school-aged children presented with challenges in social and emotional function, executive skills, and developmental issues. She is supervised by Dr. Paul Mullen.

Jacey to begin internship at Loyola University Medical Center

Our intern Jacey will begin a placement at LUMC beginning this summer. Jacey will be working with bariatric surgery and medical weight loss patients, as well as conducting general outpatient therapy in an academic medical setting. Congratulations Jacey!

Dr. Mullen has headed back to school this fall. After a 1-year hiatus, he has returned to his half-time appointment as Assistant Professor in the Psychology department at North Central College in Naperville. In addition, he returns in the role of student to his alma mater Loyola University Chicago, where he enrolled in a 1-year post-graduate certificate program in Child & Adolescent Psychotherapy.
